Peadar de Burca is an Irishman living with his family in Poland. He writes a weekly column for Katowice Wyborcza which have recently been collected and published as the book Uporczywie Pogodne Mysli (Positively Serene Thoughts).

He is putting the finishing touches on his first novel, A Woman Called Fox, a supernatural thriller set in Poland, and is about to tour his one-man comedy show, Confessions of an Immigrant in Ireland and Poland.
